Dancehall artiste Shatta Wale has said in a new interview that one of his arch-rivals in the music industry, Stonebwoy, is becoming conceited.
Shatta Wale who appeared on the Rants, Bants, and Confessions podcast mentioned that "Stonebwoy is just getting swollen-headed with fame."
He also revealed he tried several times to reconcile with the 'Manodzi' hit maker but the attempt proved futile.
"There have been a number of times I have told him we can settle our differences and collaborate so we can make money out of this," he said.
According to the 'Dancehall King', he does not have any problem with Stonebwoy but because the 'Jejereje' hit maker and other artistes are liars, they find it difficult to come out to talk about some of the things that go on behind the scenes between them.
"Stonebwoy and the rest are not real, they're full of fake people. And I hate the fact that they are not being real. Because I don't have a problem with Stonebwoy so why should people think otherwise?"
"...I had an issue with Samini and not him. I don't even have any problem with him," he intimated.
He also expressed his disappointment in law enforcement agencies not punishing Stonebwoy for brandishing a gun during the altercation that ensued between them during the 2019 Vodafone Ghanaian Music Awards.
"The gun thing they should have arrested him and taken him to jail. If it was me, I would have gone to jail. So why didn't they take him to jail?," he asked.
The relationship between Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy went sour after the 2019 VGMA incident.
They two have always taken a jab at each other on several occasions while their fans are always locked in a duel on social media banter.
In the meantime, Stonebwoy has released his 6th studio album titled 'UP &RUNNIN6.'
