Abraham Odoom, Deputy Minister of Local Government, Rural Development and Environment has advised assembly members to consider themselves as servants, instead of lording it over the people.

He appealed to the members to be proactive and work hard to leave their “footprints in the sand of time” and to draw inspiration from the national pledge “to be faithful and loyal to the assembly”.
Mr Odoom advised them to initiate pragmatic programmes and draw a 20-year- development plan to enhance the development of the district.
He also urged the members to apply the knowledge acquired at the workshop well to improve upon their work and cooperate with unit committees of the assembly to facilitate the development of the area.
