Swansea City coach Carlos Carvalhal heaped praise on Jordan Ayew after the forward's superb solo strike helped the Swans beat Wolves to reach the fourth round of the FA Cup.
Ayew scored his fourth goal in seven games with an 11th-minute run and finish as Swansea won 2-1 at the Liberty Stadium.
The former Aston Villa man drove past several defenders into the Wolves area, before cutting in onto his right foot to beat Will Norris.
It proved to be the high point of Swansea's evening, as they fell away after a bright start.
Substitute Diogo Jota scored just a couple of minutes after coming on to level the scores, but Wilfried Bony stabbed home the winner to set-up a clash at League Two Notts County a week on Saturday.
And Carvalhal was full of praise for Ayew after his memorable contribution.
“I am very happy because Jordan deserves it,” said the Swans boss.
“He scored against Newcastle and again tonight. I am happy because he is a fighter – he works very hard for the team.
“He ran a lot tonight, even at the end when he was tired I think.
“I like players like that – who have quality but first of all they think of the team. I am very happy to see him score a goal like that.”
