A 33-year-old truck pusher who allegedly penetrated the anus of a 15-year-old boy has been arrested by the Tamale police.
Yahya Adam is said to have lured his victim into an uncompleted building, threatened him with a charm before sodomising him.
Chief Inspector Ebenezer Tetteh, Police Public Relations Officer in the Northern Region told Myjoyonline.com the suspect allegedly “conjured money” which he used as a bait to lure the victim.
He had promised to double the amount if the victim consented to the act and proceeded to forcibly "enter" the 15-year-old.
The victim who could not withstand the pain burst into uncontrollable tears drawing the attention of a mob who then effected the arrest of the suspect, Mr. Tetteh narrated.
He feared the anal region of the victim has been damaged as a result of the unnatural canal knowledge.
The suspect is in police custody charged with defilement and is awaiting prosecution.
The act comes in the wake of increasing reports of rights of homosexuality.
Chief Inspector Tetteh says lesbianism is against religion and morals and must not be condoned.
“If someone says he has a right to have sex with animals, must he be allowed?” he quizzed.
