A three storey building under construction has collapsed at Cantonments in Accra, trapping about 16 workers.
Joy News' Laud Kottey Adu, who is at the scene reports that 13 people have so far been rescued from the rubble of the collapsed building, most of them severely injured.
So far one person has been confirmed dead.
Register for the workers show that about 16 labourers were working on the building when it collapsed.
Frantic efforts are being made to rescue all the trapped workers.



Laud Kottey Adu said officials from the police and fire services are working tirelessly to save the lives of the trapped.
Engineering firm, Engineers & Planners is helping with rescue effort with excavators.
