Usain Bolt has sensationally revealed he could play for Jamaica in qualifying campaign for 2018 World Cup.
Bolt has famously toyed with the idea of playing for his boyhood idols Manchester United in the past, with rumours suggesting the gold medalist could appear in a charity game for David Moyes‘ side.
But it now seems that Bolt has put serious consideration into ditching his running spikes for football boots after his recent Instagram post.
According to Jamaican paper, The Sunday Gleaner, coach Winfried Schafer recently admitted he would be interested in calling Bolt up for the national side.
He said: “He’s a Jamaican and I want him to be on the national team.
“This is our goal. Maybe after the Olympics in Brazil (2016), I want to see him in our team. That is what I want to tell him. I hope he wants to play for his country.”
