Real Madrid director Zinedine Zidane has asserted that he is keen for coach Jose Mourinho to remain at the club beyond the end of the season.
Saturday's match against Betis will mark Mourinho's 100th match on Madrid's bench, with the coach having won 76 of the 99 games he has overseen at the Spanish club.
"If I see him overseeing 100 more matches here? With all that he is doing at the club, the best thing is that he stays," Zidane told reporters.
"The most important thing is that we end the season well, that everything goes the right way.
"Then, we will see."
Mourinho joined Madrid in 2010 after guiding Inter to a treble of Scudetto, Coppa Italia and Champions League triumphs, but he has so far only been able to deliver one Copa del Rey trophy in the Spanish capital.
The Portuguese coach, who has been linked with Tottenham, Chelsea and England, admitted in December that he wished to return to the Premier League in 'a couple of years'.
His relationship with Madrid's fans had become strained as the club were ousted by Barcelona in this season's Copa del Rey, but with Los Blancos 10 points clear at the top of the Liga standings, his popularity levels have risen considerably in recent weeks.
