Wednesday proved to be dangerous for a multitude of the 2015 McDan Open's ranked players.
While the highest-seeded players survived Day 3, several others weren't quite as lucky and suffered early exits from the tournament.
Following the conclusion of the day's action, the women's field for the third-round action has been revealed, and the men are halfway through second-round play.
That just goes to show how early some of the world's top players are being ousted from this prestigious event.
Before Day 4 commences from Ghana's 'Flushing Meadows' at the Accra Sports Stadium Tennis Court, let's take a look back at all of Wednesday’s results.

Wisdom Na-Adjrago defeats Bernard Dugabh 3-6-7,6-1

Faustina Tagoe defeats Gifty Tormegah 6-4,5-7,6-0
Francisca Nyarko defeats Naa Mckorley 6-0,6-0
Jeff Bagerbaseh defeated Benjamin Ababio, a ranked player.
It may not seem like that great of a feat, but there's plenty to take away from this match.
Storylines
Heading into the tournament, one of the biggest storylines was George Darko's chances to win the title - much of that due to Bagerbaseh’s loss to Darko at the 2nd National Ranking final.
However, after a brilliant showing on Wednesday, the defending champion - Bagerbaseh - truly established himself also the favorite to win the 2015 McDan Open.
This high level of confidence is extremely important for Jeff Bagerbaseh going forward. He'll have a very difficult test in quarter finals against Francis Akpese, who defeated Franklin Effah on Wednesday.
The tournament is far from over, but Bagerbaseh has begun about as well as he could have hoped.
Notable Results
(3) Kate Coleman def. Mariam Blepo 6-0, 6-1
On a day in which number one Francisca Nyarko won while only giving up one game to her opponent, many were wondering who would emerge as a viable challenger.
After a glowing first-round performance, number three Kate Coleman figured to be one candidate for such a role.
Meanwhile, top-seeded George Darko is scheduled to compatriot Bernard Armah in the quarter finals round.
Darko, who is looking to win his first McDan Open tiltle, proved why he is favored to win this year with a masterful 6-1, 6-1 win against Eric Tetteh Nartey on Wednesday evening.
Games to come
The men’s match Darko and Armah will be the first match of the first session that is scheduled to start at 11 a.m. at the Accra Sports Stadium Tennis Court, which will be followed by the Wisdom Na- Adjrago- Kwabena Ofosu Bamfo match, followed by Raymond Hayford vs Benjamin Fumi.
Defending champion Jeff Bagerbaseh will show down with Francis Apkese in the first match of the late afternoon session which stars at 3 p.m.
The only women’s singles game coming up today will be former number one Kate Coleman, who is considered as favorite to win this year's McDan Open title. She goes against Faustina Tagoe.
