Princess Anne, daughter of Her Royal Highness, Queen Elizabeth II on Tuesday April 4, 2017 arrived in Ghana to start her two-day West African tour.
Her first port of call was to meet president Nana Addo Dankwa - Akufo Addo at the Flagstaff House.
The Princess together with the Minister of Defense Mr Dominic Nitiwul laid wreathes at the Christiansborg memorial Park in honour of the soldiers who died in the first and second world wars.
She also interacted with some members of civil society groups at the British Council who are championing the welfare of girl child in Ghana.
From the British Council she toured a local cosmetics manufacturing factory at the Spintex Road a suburb of Accra.
The princess rounded off her day with a reception at the residence of the British High Commissioner HE Jon Benjamin to mark Ghana's 60th independence anniversary which was attended by former president John Agyekum Kufuor, Minister of Gender and Social Protection, Afisa Otiko Djaba.
