Nominees for the 6th Ghana Information Technology & Telecom Awards  (GITTA) has been announced following a rigorous process to ensure all players in the ICT ecosystem are represented.

The nominations were officially unveiled after the Board of Trustees of the awards had reviewed all entries and conducted their own research into entries submitted by companies.

The 6th GITTA is powered by InstinctWave, the same company behind the much celebrated Ghana Construction Awards, CFO Awards (Ghana & Nigeria) and Africa Brand Conference-UK.

The GITTA awards night is Ghana’s first and only platform for recognizing excellence in the ICT industry. The awards represent the most respected accolade in the industry, celebrating excellence in innovation, product development and service delivery.

Announcing the nominees, CEO of InstinctWave, Akin Naphtal noted that, “The quality of nominees is impressive and reflects the change from Ghana Telecom Awards (GTA) to Ghana Information Technology & Telecom Awards (GITTA). The various nominees for the categories cover every area of the industry.”

According to Naphtal, the 6th GITTA is special as it will see more participation from ICT companies and honour teams for their achievements and excellence in the area of service delivery, data and the impact of ICTs on the economy of Ghana.

There are 30 ICT/Telecoms specific competitive categories, four ICT in banking categories, and 10 special awards up for grabs.
