Angry youth of the National Democratic Congress have reportedly gone on rampage in Tamale vandalizing billboards belonging to President John Mahama.
They suspect the president may not appoint MP for Tamale South and caretaker Minister for Communications Haruna Iddrisu into his government.
A witness, Ibrahim Mohammed told Joy News the angry youth have threatened that until Haruna Iddrisu is appointed, they will continue with their destruction.
He said the incident happened close to the Tamale teaching hospital.
The angry youth who gave their name as NDC Youth Network for peace tore down and burnt billboards which had the pictures of the president and that of Inusah Fuseini.
Ibrahim Mohammed said the Metropolitan Police Commander intervened, and asked the aggrieved youth to apply for permit to demonstrate if they so wish.
