Gender-based violence became the subject of discussion on Ghana Connect on Joy News on Multi TV Friday. Take stories such as the husband who killed his two children, mother-in-law and nearly killed his wife.
In another, a 38-year old man Sampson Ohene who beat to death his girlfriend at Dansoman after cohabiting for 10 years.
It was a disagreement over switching off the ceiling fan in their bedroom. These are stories which form 30,408 assault cases from 2011 to 2017.
The three panellists are Clarke Noyoru, a lawyer and Child Rights activist, Barimah Akwasi Amankwaah with the Ghana NGO Coalition on the Rights of the child (GNCRC) and Anna Nabere of the The Girls Advocacy Alliance (GAA).
