The Member of Parliament for Dome-Kwabenya Constituency, Sarah Adwoa Safo has called on Ghanaians to remain resolute and work harder, for a prosperous future.
Delivering an address on Wednesday, March 7, 2013 to mark Ghana’s 56th Independence anniversary celebrations at the Atomic Park in the Ga East Municipality of Accra, Adwoa Safo urged the people to be confident, despite the current economic situation where supply of water and electricity are nothing to talk about.
The MP emphasized on the need for all to work hard to contribute their quota towards the nation’s progress.
She also appealed to traditional leaders in the area not to relent on their continuous support towards the development of the area.
She particularly praised the women from the Dome market for their performance during the parade, as well as congratulated the school pupils who took part in the celebration of the anniversary.
The MP presented a number of items to those who participated in the celebrations.
