Loyalty and faithfulness pay. But they pay even more when you are loyal and faithful to the one you love and to HOME AFFAIRS, Joy FM’s multiple award-winning family programme hosted by Edem Knight-Tay.
That sums up the story of six gorgeous couples who will, beginning December 21, make a journey to the most flamboyant Volta Serene Hotel for a treat of their lives.
It will be honeymoon all over again for the couples in an all cost covered three-nights, four-days of pure bliss in the HOME AFFAIRS CHRISTMAS GETAWAY PROMOTION, put together by Edem Knight-Tay and her team.
The six, Mr. and Mrs. Ako Addo, Mr. and Mrs. Adu, Mr. and Mrs. Boham Ainguah, Mr. and Mrs. Dakwa, Mr. and Mrs. Afankwah and Mr. and Mrs. Bambio told lovely stories of their 5-10 years marriage in a two minutes slideshow using 20 pictures.

Each couple told a sensational story with pictures that spoke volumes of the journey they had covered so far, beginning from how they met, married and got along even when babies came.
Many were the entries but in the end, three judges with knightly powers, led by Edem Knight-Tay, Baaba Tandoh (Sports Journalist) and Sammy Forson (Host of Over Drive and the Weekend City Show) pruned the entries down to six using creativity and coherence of the entries as benchmarks.

So the six who were announced as winners in the Saturday, December 15, 2018, edition of the show will be the royal guests at the most glamorous Volta Serene Hotel, the only four-star facility located in the heart of the Volta regional capital, Ho.
The facility provides high-quality accommodation and services for conference guests and delegates, as well as honeymooners and other leisure travellers.
The hotel sits on the picturesque Kabakaba Hill in Ho and their panoramic terraces provide the most magnificent views of the Ho township.
The intimate atmosphere of the hotel gives guests the comfort of a private home with the convenient facilities of a hotel. The hotel has 150 apartments that range from a modest Deluxe Room to a fully furnished Three-Bedroom Apartment.
The hotel takes pride in the stellar level of facilities and services that they have for conferences, meetings, and other special events such as birthdays and weddings. After a hectic day of conferences and meetings, guests can relax and unwind at the glistening Fafa poolside and the Executive VS Nightclub.
Whether the guests are staying for business or leisure, Volta Serene Hotel in Ghana makes sure that they get nothing less than the best that the capital can offer. And that is exactly where our winners will be treated to the best of Christmas weekends ever.
This year’s Christmas weekend getaway to the Volta Serene Hotel is the 5th edition of the Getaways put together by Edem Knight-Tay and the Home Affairs team. The first edition was to the Beige Village in New Abirem, then to the Busua Beach Resort in the Western Region for the 2nd edition. The Akayet hotel in the Upper East Region and the Peduase valley resort in Aburi were the 3rd and 4th destinations respectively.
The Christmas getaway is part of The December on Home AFFAIRS promotions sponsored by the Volta Serene Hotel and powered by your super station, JOY 99.7 FM.
HOME Affairs airs on JOY 99.7 FM every Saturday morning From 6:15 through to 7:30 am and is hosted by Edem Knight-Tay.
