Ghana midfielder Thomas Partey has revealed he is unhappy at a lack of regular playing time at Atletico Madrid.
Partey only signed a new long-term deal with Atletico in March but only half of his 14 league appearances this season have been starts.
He has struggled for playing time following the return of Rodrigo from Villarreal in the summer and he has let his frustrations be known.
"Sometimes I feel unhappy in Atleti," Thomas said in a statement to Gol.
"To feel happy you have to play the important matches and feel stronger and more confident."
He, however, declared, in this sense, that he has had a "very good season" so far, "There have been games that I've played well."
The 25-year-old has scored two goals in all competitions.
