Kevin-Prince Boateng will return for Ghana to play in the potential World Cup qualifying group decider against Zambia later this year, ace commentator Moses Foh Amoaning has predicted. Boateng shocked the West African Nation when he called time on his international career after excelling for the Black Stars at the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa. The AC Milan star claimed combining club duties with the national team was taken a toll on his health and decided to hang his international boot. There have been calls for the 25-year-old to return to the team and boost their chances of qualifying to their third successive World Cup. The veteran broadcaster who has launched a campaign to have the player rescind his decision claims he will be involved at some point in the qualifying campaign and predicts he will score two goals against the Chipolopolo at home. “Kevin-Boateng will play for the Black Stars. He will play in the game against Zambia and will score two goals,” Amoaning predicted on Happy FM “The people who were unhappy with his decision to quit will be the same who will hail him. “We’re doing lots of work in the background and I know what I’m talking about. “I have said time without number that we need him in the team. I’m hoping he will even play in the return leg against Sudan. “The people who matter at the FA know we need him and if he doesn’t suffer any injuries I’m positive he might even play in the game return game against Sudan.” “The road to Brazil is difficult and we need all our best players in the team to ensure we secure qualification,” he added “Don’t forget we’ll be involved in the difficult play-offs if we top our group and so there is lots of work to be done.” Sulley Muntari has hinted his AC Milan colleague could stage a return to the Black Stars in the foreseeable future. The former Germany Under-20 midfielder has been a keen follower of the Black Stars since he retired from the national team two years ago.
