Ghana U20 coach Sellas Tetteh has commended for braving the challenges to reach the final of the just ended African Youth Championship.
The Black Satellites were not paid their winning bonuses but never agitated.
The youngsters recovered from an opening day defeat to secure a FIFA U20 World Cup ticket by finishing as one of the four semi-finalists.
Tetteh charges went on to conquer Mali but missed out on winning the tournament in a 5-4 defeat to Egypt on penalties.
The former Rwanda boss believes his players deserve the plaudits.
"We wouldn't say that the team didn't go through difficulties. We went through a lot of difficulties but you will need the management-player relationship to handle situation and by the special Grace of God, we went through," Tetteh told Joy Sports.
