Ghana striker Dominic Adiyiah has revealed he is yet to receive his salary since last October from his employers.
The capital club is going through dire financial crisis and have not paid their players since for the past six months leading to mass player exodus.
Adiyiah who joined Arsenal Kiev from AC Milan last season has revealed he has received neither salaries nor winning bonuses since last October.
“Salary? As far back as six months, that’s how long I’ve not been paid my money and that is since the month of October,” he told football.sports.ua.
The situation at the club is obviously affect Adiyiah’s compatriot Abeiku Quansah who has been at the club for the past two seasons.
The current crossboard is contributing to the club’s poor form in the Ukrainian Premier League as they have slipped down to 12th and are without a league win since last November.
And, the 2009 FIFA U20 World Cup golden shoe winner is worried by the turn of things for the club.
“It’s pretty sad and hurt. “Arsenal” is in trouble. Many players left the team. To be replaced by new ones.
“In fact, this is a new team, you know? No teamwork, no understanding, there is no coordination.
“Another problem – there is no motivation. Footballers lost it, without compensation for their work.
Adiyiah has scored thrice in 20 league appearances for Arsenal Kiev this season.
