The National Democratic Congress claims it has gathered credible information that impostors will besiege the premises of the Supreme Court tomorrow ostensibly to solidarize with President John Mahama whose legitimacy is being challenged.According to Johnson Asiedu Nketia, General Secretary of the party, the impostors who have been mobilized by detractors will storm the court clad in NDC party paraphernalia to create an impression that the ruling party is lawless. He has therefore asked the security personnel to arrest and deal ruthlessly with such group of persons found in and around the premises. He cited an earlier incident in which a truck load of persons said to be supporters of the NDC stormed the Supreme Court with canes to attack opposition New Patriotic Party supporters who had also gone to the court.Asiedu Nketiah said they are convinced the people were planted at the Supreme Court by their detractors to create disaffection for the ruling party. He said true NDC supporters will not engage in acts that will tarnish the image of the party, adding the NDC is committed to the democratic practice in Ghana.
