The Kumasi Metropolitan Directorate of Health Services will celebrate its Maternal and Child Health Campaign from November 26 to November 30 this year.
The theme of the campaign is "Healthier Mothers and Children in the Golden Jubilee and beyond."
Dr Joseph Oduro, Kumasi Metropolitan Director of Health Services, said this in an interview with the Ghana News Agency in Kumasi on Friday.
He said activities planned in connection with the campaign include Polio/Immunization for children below 59 months, Vitamin "A" dosage for children from six to 59 months, de-worming for children from 12 to 59 months and distribution of treated mosquito nets.
Dr Oduro appealed to mothers to patronize the exercise to help improve the health status of their children.Source: GNA
