The National Labour Commission will today meet the Fair Wages & Salaries Commission and striking doctors to resolve the impasse between the two institutions.
The doctors have been striking about a month now over unpaid allowances and market premiums.
Head of Public Affairs at the Fair Wages Commission Earl Ankrah told Joy News he is hopeful the meeting which was called at the instance of the Labour Commission will focus on getting public sector doctors back to work.
“…We will be watching what comes out of [this meeting], possibly they may be having something new on the table…”
