A former student of St John’s School, Sekondi has won the coveted Henry Godson-Afful overall best 2018 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) student award.
Kwesi Kwansa Kennedy a science student attained eight As in all subjects he wrote at the 2018 WASSCE.
He was born on September 15, 2002, at Nkwantanum Hospital, Central Region, to Fiifi Kennedy, Esq. and Mrs Joyce Jackson Kennedy.
He had basic education at Asikuma Catholic Boys' Basic School in the Central region and continued at St. John's School in Sekondi in the Western region.
From the very beginning, one thing was unmissable about the young lad who always works hard to get ahead of his class and peers.
It was not surprising therefore that Kwansa Kennedy worked hard to obtain straight As in all subjects at the 2018 WASSCE.
Currently pursuing Human Biology (Medicine) at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) the brilliant student revealed that he aspires “to study at the John Hopkins University after his undergraduate education.
“I want to become a cardiothoracic surgeon so I can contribute to the health of this country,” he said.
