16 companies including hosts, Multimedia, are vying for the numerous awards up for grabs as well as the bragging rights at the 2019 Joy Sports Invitational. The event is taking place at the Burma Sports Complex, Accra. The entire competition sees teams segmented into four groups, A – D

Staff of various participating companies have appeared in high spirits and created a carnival atmosphere as the games get underway.
10:45 – The opening game in football competition produced no goals as First National Bank and UMB shared the spoils. 10:50 – Football: Dolait and Stanbic also end in a goalless draw.
10:55 – Basketball, Table Tennis, Armwrestling and Volleyball competitions are also underway. 11:00 – Football: Carat Media beat MTN by a lone goal. 11:34 – Football results so farFirst National Bank 0-0 UMBDolait 0-0 Stanbic CARAT 1-0 MTN Prudential 0-1 Nestle – Nestle awarded three points after Prudential no show. Stunning performance. 2:50 – GOIL are champions of Table Tennis. Their rep Alexander Oduro won the final by two straight sets. Multimedia v Stanbic Sapholda v First National Bank Carat Media v GOILNestle v Escort3:56 – GHACEM are champions of the Basketball competition after beating 14-8 in the final. 4:00 – MTN are champions of the Volleyball competition. 4:05 – Sapholda Ventures have won the Ladies penalty shootout 4:10 – Mr Chadi Haidar of Solitcom Limited producers of Doliat Yoghurt won CEOs mini goal post.
