Visiting Zaytuna's right winger Felix Baffoe made his mark and became host of the supporters of Wa All Stars for tormenting the defence of All Stars before scoring a beautiful goal to win the maximum three points for his side in their Onetouch Premier League match played at the Wa Sports Stadium on Sunday.
Baffoe who made his markers look ordinary and useless in all departments of the game, received a pass from a colleague, outwitted two defenders and went ahead to draw out the goalkeeper from his post before planting the ball expertly in the net to register the only goal of the match in the 85th minute of the match.
The right winger was so marvellous to watch and any move he made attracted applauds from the supporters' of the home side who mobbed him after the game.
In the first half, All Stars besieged the Zaytuna goal area and fired at all angles in an effort to score but the visitors stood their grounds to thwart all the goal scoring chances that came their way with good defensive work.
Samuel Owusu of All Stars let his side down in the 40th minute when he failed to connect home a beautiful pass by feebly shooting into the hands of Zaytuna's goalkeeper to the dismay of the supporters.
All Stars again came close to registering the opener in the 43rd minute but an attacker made nonsense of the kick, which was saved by the keeper bring the half to an end.
Back from the recess, All Stars came in with all the tricks at their disposal with the hope of coming up with a win but all proved futile with Alex Aryee failing to register the first goal in 78th minute when he had only the Zaytuna goalkeeper at his mercy but his kick missed the post narrowly.
Zaytuna took over the game during the dying minutes making use of their wings whose crosses the defencemen of All Stars found difficult to deal with which resulted in their committing certain some mistakes, one of which Baffoe capitalized on to register the only goal of the match.
Coach Ibrahim Sunday, who planned the defeat of All Stars, told the GNA Sports that Zaytuna came to win and they managed to achieve their aim promising that henceforth all teams that would face them should be prepared for a defeat.
Supporters of All Stars went home in disappointment while calling on the coach and management of the club to recruit strikers to beef up its potency up front.
