Kofi Agyeman-Agyekum returned a net score of 66 to win this year's Achimota Golf Club Seniors’ Open Championship played at the Achimota Golf Course, Accra on Saturday.
Paul List took the second position with 68 net followed by Peter Ennin with 71 net with Kofi Owusu-Achaw placing fourth with 72 net.
In the Ladies encounter, Esther Amedzro came first with 74 net with veteran Florence Etwi-Barimah taking the second position with 75 net while Misseu Amo placing third with 76 net.
The one-day 18-Hole Medal Play competition opened to senior golfers of the Club aged 55 years and above, attracted about 100 participants.
Mr Mike Ezan, President of the Club commended the participants for their show of sportsmanship during the competition.
He said the management of the Club would ensure that everything possible is made for the competition to be sustained.Source: GNA
