About 50 health institutions in West Africa will be awarded at the 2019 edition of the West African Clinical Alliance Awards (WACAA).
This initiative is also to recognise the contributions of individuals and institutions from Ghana, Nigeria and Burkina Faso who have exhibited brilliance in their endeavours in the health sector.
The third edition of WACAA in collaboration with the Corporate Health Ghana Limited, is slated for November 23, at Holiday Inn Hotel in Accra.
Speaking at the launch, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Gehab Events, Mrs. Appiah Kubi said WACAA is to encourage them to improve on their performances and motivate others to also work hard.
She noted that, practitioners in both the private and public health institutions, as well as those in herbal and traditional health centres will be awarded.
Mrs. Appiah Kubi said Alternative, Orthodox and Allied health facilities as well as Faith-based health facilities will be awarded.
Also, she stated that, special awards will be given to health personalities, health executive and National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Plan (NEIP) beneficiaries.
