Actress Martha Ankomah has tasked the youth to live within their means and not be blinded by the success of others on social media.
According to Martha, the large number of the youth are so focused on what others do on social media they lose sight of what is theirs.
The actress, speaking on the Aben Show with Adom TV’s Cynthia Tima Yeboah, stated that that social media has been dominated with people living fake lives and it is taking a toll on many youths.
She stated that many youths, as a result, do not have the patience to wait and work to achieve their goals.
“I want people to know that you can still live a good and decent life in today’s modern world. You don’t need to follow the crowd,” she stated.
Martha Ankomah who has over 1.5 million followers on her social media pages said it does not feel right to post compromising things on social media when she can use it to impact possibly on others.
She urged the youth to turn a blind eye to the fake world of social media and focus solely on making themselves better.
