A young man, Niina Danaa who took advantage of his friend’s absence to sleep with his fiancée was caught in the act having an affair with the woman.
Niina Danaa was beaten mercilessly wounded, dragged out of the room and stripped naked. He was saved by his shouts for help from some elders who intervened and took him out of the house.
The woman was, however, heckled by the women in the house but the fiancé, Nicholas Wuini said he loved his fiancée and nobody should harm her.
A family source who disclosed this to the Spectator said, Niina and Nicolas Wuini are very close friends who visit each other occasionally.
The source, however, said some occupants of the house suspected Niina Danaa and Wuini’s finacee of having an affair and therefore put them under surveillance.
Their suspicion was confirmed when on Tuesday, January 23, 2007, Niina entered the friend’s room. The people broke into the room, beat him mercilessly and dragged him out of the room to the compound and stripped him naked. He shouted for help and his pleas for leniency brought some elders who took him out of the house.
But, immediately he stepped out he took to his heels and had not been seen again.
The source said surprisingly when the fiancee came home, the girl pleaded for forgiveness which the man accepted. The two are still waiting to be married as man and wife.
