Zoomlion, a Sanitation and Waste Management Company has employed 4,000 youth nationwide in collaboration with the National Youth Employment Programme (NYEP).
Sharon Quarshie, Operations Executive of Zoomlion said her company has the requisite expertise, resources and logistics to support the government in its agenda to keep towns and cities clean and tidy.
“My company aims at creating a healthy environment in terms of sanitation both to boost tourism and safeguard the health of the people of Ghana”, she stressed.
The Operations Executive said the company focuses on quality delivery of waste management and relies on modern technical innovations that respect the environment to ensure maximum promotion of public health.
Miss Quarshie said the company in its operations makes the hygienic disposal of solid and liquid waste a prime concern to prevent pollution.
She said door-to-door solid waste collection, the introduction of tricycle waste collection concept, evacuation of refuse heaps and supply of refuse containers, are among the range of services that Zoomlion provides throughout the country.Source: GNA
