The bodies of two children were reportedly found at Tafo in Kumasi in the Ashanti Region on Wednesday morning, March 5, 2008.Fatawu, 4 and Kasum, 3 were found dead on the premises of the Tafo Pankrono Block B Junior High School.The cause of death is not readily known but Ohemeng Tawiah of Nyhira FM told Joy FM’s Super Morning Show host, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah that family sources suspected foul play.The children were suspected to have been kidnapped and their blood drained after which the bodies were dumped in the school’s premises.According to the reporter, no inflammations or bruises were found on the bodies.He however noted the children were foaming from their mouths.The Tafo police refused to comment on the issue but said investigations were underway to ascertain the cause of death and also find the perpetrators.The bodies have been deposited at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital.
