President John Agyekum Kufuor left Accra on Wednesday for Abuja, Nigeria, for a day's official trip.Mr Kwadwo Baah-Wiredu, Minister of Finance and Economic Planning, Mr Akwasi Osei-Adjei, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr Robert Ahomka Lindsay, Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Investment Promotion Council and some senior government officials accompanied him.Briefing journalists, Mr Andrew Awuni, Presidential Spokesperson and Press Secretary to the President, said while in Nigeria, President Kufuor was expected to hold bilateral talks with his host, President Umaru Yar'Adua.President Kufuor is expected back home later in the day. At the airport to see off the President were senior government officials, the Chief of Defence Staff, Lt. Gen. J.B. Danquah, the Inspector General of Police, P.K. Acheampong and other senior military and police personnel.Source: GNA
