A magistrate’s court at Nyinahin in Ashanti, has granted bail of GH¢ 300 to Kwame Asante, a 23-year-old farm labourer, for defecating in the classroom of Akotaa D/A Primary School in the Atwima-Mponua District.
Asante, who pleaded not guilty, will re-appear at the court on March 18, 2008.
Detective Lance Corporal James Kalami told the court presided over by Mr Augustine Essah, that last year, the accused was caught defecating in the classroom by residents of the town but was freed because he pleaded for forgiveness.
Prosecution said on March 10 this year, the accused again commit the same offence in the classroom leaving behind his shirt and when he was confronted by some residents he admitted the offence.
