The Ghana Road Transport Co-coordinating Council (GRTCC), on Saturday, announced new road transport fares, which take immediate effect. This was contained in a press release signed by Nana Danso Atekoasa Agyemang, Acting chairman of GRTCC. The Intra-city fares (Trotro), has been increased by GP3 (3 Ghana Pesewas) on the existing approved fares. For inter-city (Long Distance), an increase of GP4 (4 Ghana Pesewas) on the existing approved fares, while fares for Taxi cabs has been increased by GP5 (5 Ghana Pesewas) on the existing approved fares.
