Let's release this tension of this declaration of presidential run-off election. And I have this ‘lil’ counsel for would be presidential candidates.
Do you remember in 2004 Prof Mills started his campaign message with "I am already in motion" and when we got to the Election Day he had run past the mark and was disqualified.
He learnt his lesson and started this time round in 2008 with "I care for you"; meaning he still wants to go at the same pace with the electorate.
Nana Akufo-Addo did not understand the lessons learnt by Prof. Mills and unfortunately started his campaign by "moving forward" and I was always cautioning that the jumping is too much and we are likely to jump past the mark like prof Mills did. But he replied that the Kangaroo knows when to stop.
Oh, has the kangaroo jumped past the finishing line where the electorates were standing? My food for your thoughts.
