Former Ghana Football Association chairman Lepowura MDN Alhaji Jawula says he knew CAF was not going to bow to the request to have the tournament postponed
CAF has reiterated it will not move the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations from January and has given Morocco until Saturday to decide if they will host the tournament.
Morocco requested for the tournament to be postponed because of fears over the Ebola outbreak.
“People want to create the impression that CAF can never set it house in order and there if there is a clear postponement it will go in support to some of this wrong impression created that the African Federation does not know its right from left,” said Alhaji Jawula who doubles as a member of the CAF inter-club competitions committee
“I believe there is a magic one from somewhere CAF will never change their plans.”
CAF has asked Morocco to clarify their position by Saturday, a deadline also given to any country who may want to step in as replacement hosts.
