The President and founder of Kumasi King Faisal Babies FC, Alhaji Karim Grusah has revealed that he will pursue his current legal battle with the GFA to its logical conclusion.
Grusah dragged the Ghana Football Association before the Accra High court, after two sub-committees (Appeals Committee and Disciplinary Committee) of the judicial committee of the GFA threw out their appeal against Aduana Stars for nonpayment of a statutory fine.
The continuous delay of the start of the 2014/2015 First Capital Plus Premier League football season coupled with the public outcry has prompted calls for an out of court settlement of the case.
However, in an exclusive interview on Asempa FM’s Ultimate Sports Show, the renowned football administrator said he will go as far as Supreme Court to seek justice.
“I am ready to go all the way up to the Supreme Court for the justice to prevail as far as my court case with the FA is concerned”.
“I am telling Ghanaians that if the rules and regulations governing our football in this country are not allowed to work then I am not ready to accept any out of court settlement.
“ I am ready to face any consequence out of my pursuit for justice if it even means to resign from association football whether I win this case or not”, Alhaji emotionally stressed.
“The FA can decide to extend the premier league teams from 16 to 18 or 20 for them to start the league, but trust me I won’t budge in my quest for fairness”, he added.
