But only in love. Matilda Asante got married, finally, on Saturday, so don’t be too surprised henceforth to hear her go softly on her respondents for the Midday News she anchors on Joy 99.7 FM.The hard-probing, no-holds-barred inquisitor of a News Editor of arguably Ghana’s flagship radio station was certainly without her heart on Saturday, after tying the knot with the man who managed to steal her heart, Larry Asiedu, himself a giggling, all-smiling Marketing Manager of Unique Insurance Company.Tilly was all singing and dancing in front of hundreds of family members, friends, work colleagues and well-wishers.Larry and Matilda were married jointly by the trio of Rev. Peter Sedem of Power Chapel, Rev. Yaw Owusu Ansah of Joy Love Chapel and Rev. Samuel Hammond of Integrity of Christ Mission and when the ceremonies were done with, there was no doubt here was a couple made for each other.Hugging, pecking and chit-chatting; and joined by family and friends who witnessed the traditional ceremony, the duo was full of thanks and praises for God’s blessings and to all who supported the ceremony in diverse ways.
