Information reaching Joy FM indicates the Chief Executive of the National Health Insurance Scheme, Mr. Ras Boateng has been asked to proceed on leave.
Mr. Boateng reportedly received the instructions to leave the Health Ministry late Friday last week.
When he was reached for his comment, he declined saying he would respond at the appropriate time.
Meanwhile the reconstituted board of the NHIS would be inaugurated this week.
It is expected Mr. Ras Boateng would formally hand over to the new board.
