In light of the current situation in Ghana regarding COVID-19, Action Chapel International led by its founder, Archbishop Nicholas Duncan-Williams, have joined the fight against the coronavirus pandemic by donating some essentials to a number of hospitals and orphanges in Ghana.
The donations which took place on 28th March 2020, included items such as Veronica buckets, bottled water, soaps, toiletries and diapers.

Some institutions which received the items were Lekma Hospital, Legon Hospital, the Osu Children’s Home, the Borstal Institute, the Compassion Rehab Centre and the Ghana Prisons Services.
A team of members from Compassion in Action, the humanitarian sector of the church, delivered the items on behalf of the Archbishop Duncan-Williams, the leaders and members of Action Chapel international.

Many of the recipients expressed their profound joy and appreciation for the generous donation.
Representatives from Action Chapel international stated that in times like these, we must go the extra mile to support those who are in need.

Since Ghana officially reported the first two positive cases on 12th March 2020, the number of COVID-19 cases have risen and the country is currently in a 2-week partial lockdown in the Greater Accra and Kumasi areas, with all entry points into those areas being blocked.
