Stonebwoy has described the happenings leading to his collaboration with American singer Keri Hilson as “divine” interventions.
Explaining further, he said that he got the singer to work with him through a friend.
This friend he said had met the ‘Knock You Down’ hitmaker on a flight.
“Initially, he didn’t even know it was her but later he realised she was the one. So they actually thought through which of their friends were artistes and could vibe with her,” he told Jay Foley at the album listening on Joy Prime on Thursday.
Stonebwoy said he received a call one dawn from his friend who informed him he had met Keri Hilson and had talked about him to her.
“I was in the States and it happened that Keri was going to Atlanta at the time and I was also going to Atlanta after a few days, it was just like divine planning. So, I went to Atlanta met her we went to her studio,” he said.
The 'African Party' hitmaker said that he has always been a fan of Keri Hilson and hence was pleased to work with her.

Stonebwoy and Keri Hilson worked on the album's track eight, 'Nominate'. The song was produced by singer, songwriter and Grammy Award winning producer Andre Harris.
Other artistes featured on the album include Jamaican artiste, Jahmeil, Kojo Antwi (Mr Music Man), Nigerian Afrobeat artiste, Zlatan, South African rapper, Nasty C, Dutch singer, Chivv, fast-rising Dancehall artiste, Alicai Harley and East Africa’s Diamond Platnumz.
