The lawyers for the head pastor of the International God’s Way Church, Bishop Daniel Obinim have told the Kaneshi District Court that the pastor is seeking medical attention.
According to the defense counsel, the pastor who is facing charges of forgery was due to travel from Kumasi to Accra for his hearing but fell sick hence his absence.
Lead counsel, Louis Yiadom Aboagye told the court, presided over by Rosemond Dodua Agyiri that his client will be able to appear at the next hearing.
"We have communicated our difficulty to the prosecution and have agreed with them that on the next adjourned date he will appear,” Mr. Aboagye said.
The case was subsequently adjourned to December 17, 2020.
Background
