Although many shows have had to be cancelled because of the Coronavirus pandemic, rapper Sarkodie has promised to help fans end the year with a big bang.
Sarkodie will be hosting his annual Rapperholic Concert on December 25, 2020.
In a promo for the show, the ‘Happy Day' hitmaker said he had wanted to cancel the 2020 edition of the show because of the effect of the pandemic on lives.
However, he revealed that his team had convinced him to organise the show with all the Covid-19 safety protocols in place.
“We can’t do the Rapperholic everyone knows so we are going to take all the precautions, cut down the numbers drastically and focus more on the virtual,” Sarkodie said at the launch of the show.
Unlike in previous events where seating wasn’t distanced, Sarkodie revealed the seating plan for this year’s concert would comply strictly with the social distancing protocols to ensure the safety of his fans.
Another team, he added, will be in charge of the online streaming of the show so that it reaches the audience at home.
"It is going to be fun," Sarkodie said.
