Goldkey Properties has presented a cheque of GHS20,000 to the Lepers Aid Committee as part of its corporate social responsibility.
The donation, which was made to the Founder of the Lepers Aid Committee, Fr. Andrew Campbell, at the Christ the King Church in Cantonments, Accra is to support the work of the Committee in caring for people living with leprosy.
Presenting the cheque to the Committee, Justine Koblavie, Business Development Manager at Goldkey Properties said the donation is in recognition of the exemplary work the Committee is doing in caring for the less privileged in the Ghanaian society.
“We at Goldkey Properties have noticed the good work being done by the Lepers Aid Committee for the vulnerable here in Ghana. And it is for this reason we have come to support your work with this donation.
"It is our hope that the this marks the beginning of a new relationship between Goldkey Properties and the Lepers Aid Committee where we continue to assist whenever we can and whenever the Committee needs it”, Justine Koblavie said.
Afua Owusu, Head, Leasing, Sales and Marketing Manager at Goldkey Properties on her part noted that, “We are grateful to the Committee for the work that you do for the marginalised in our society.
Goldkey Properties will in diverse ways support the Committee whenever we are able to in ensuring that the Committee continues the good work it is doing for the Ghanaian society without any impediments”.
Receiving the cheque on behalf of the Lepers Aid Committee, Fr. Andrew Campbell expressed gratitude for the gesture. He also mentioned how grateful the Committee is for the support they have received from various quarters of the Ghanaian society over the years.
