Leading manufacturer of high-quality matchets in Ghana Crocodile Matchets Company has supported small-scale farmers with basic farming tools.
The indigenous company, established in 1968, is into the manufacturing of all kinds of durable farming tools such as cutlasses, hoes, oil palm sickles among others.
As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility, the company, in partnership with Ghanaian Farmer TV Show, has been supporting local farmers with machetes to help boost their farming activities.
Most farmers in Ghana prefer crocodile matchets to any other brand of cutlass on the market.
The farmers told the host of Ghanaian Farmer TV Show, Enyonam Manye, that crocodile matchet is sharp, durable, and handy.

Some of the farmers say they've been using the product for decades.
Located in Tema, Crocodile Matchets Company has consistently lived up to its mission of making the highest quality matchets at affordable prices available to farmers.
The Ghanaian Farmer TV Show launched the "Support The Farmer" platform that allows local farmers to receive tools and machinery to boost their farming activities in Ghana.
The Executive Producer and host of the interactive show, Enyonam Manye said there is a huge gap when it comes to resourcing farmers.
Ensuring the sustainability and growth of the farming industry, especially among the smallholder farmers, is key for producers of the TV programme, even though there are some forms of support from the government.
The Ghanaian Farmer team, together with Crocodile Matchets, through this initiative, presents a tool to each farmer visited, to motivate and show their support to the development of the sector.
