Actress and movie producer Yvonne Nelson says she has given up on fighting for the movie industry.

In an interview with Andy Dosty on Daybreak Hitz, she urged her colleagues to try their best to fight by putting in work to have a more vibrant film industry.

“I have stopped fighting for the industry. What can I do? I’m just minding my business and producing my movies. I think we should put in the work as producers, and I am doing that. As for the rest, it’s up to them.”

Yvonne Nelson is one of the few actresses who have taken it upon herself to continue the legacy of keeping the movie industry active through her films.

She, however, believes that most people in the movie industry talk too much and do not take action.

“I think we talk too much and we do not put in action. I am putting in action and producing movies, I am getting busy, and I know my other colleagues who are part of my movies are getting busy. We just need a vibrant industry,” she said.

The producer of the ‘Men We Love’ says since there is no support from government for the industry, she is rallying for other actors like herself to get into movie production.

According to her, this is the only way the industry can survive.

“The talk is too much, so now we are putting in the work ourselves.”

‘Fifty Fifty’ is Yvonne Nelson’s latest movie yet to be premiered on May 21.

The movie features celebrated Ghanaian actor and politicians John Dumelo, Majid Michel Anthony Wood, Jackline Mensah and many others.
