Local financial institution, Sinapi Aba Savings and Loans, has picked up four awards at the just-ended 65th Asantehene Open Golf Tournament held at the Royal Golf Course in Kumasi.
The winners are Lydia Opoku Ware, Prince John Opoku, and Anthony Appiah.
Lydia Opoku Ware won two trophies in the Ladies Support and Sponsors categories.
Her colleague, Prince John Opoku won in the male Sponsors category whiles Anthony Appiah also picked up a trophy in the Men Support A category.
The tournament had more than a hundred participants with both professionals and amateurs competing for the various prizes at stake.
The tournament which is one of the prestigious tournaments in the Ghanaian golf playing calendar attracted international golfers from Nigeria, Cote D’Ivoire and Togo.
This year’s participation by Sinapi Aba Savings and Loans makes it three years running that the financial institution has played in the tournament producing sterling performances that have led to many awards over the years.
