The National Energy Transition Committee took their stakeholder engagement event to the judiciary.
This was to afford the judiciary the opportunity to make an input into the plan.
In attendance was the Chief Justice, His Lordship, Justice Anin Yeboah.

Addressing the gathering, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, the Minister for Energy, said the work could not proceed without the input of the judiciary.
According to him, the judiciary has a greater role to play in the transition Process.
“We cannot complete or proceed with this assignment without engaging your lordships.”
We all know the great role you have to plan for the successful attainment of his agenda,” he stressed.
On his part, Chief Justice Anin Yeboah commend the government and the Energy Ministry for the move.

In attendance included Justices and Lords of the Superior Courts, Honours of the Courts, Worships of the Courts and Distinguished members of the Judicial service.
The event was organised at the Judiciary Service office on Wednesday, July 20.
