Controversial pastor, Nicolas Osei, popularly known as Prophet Kumchacha, has revealed that he does not run his church as a business.
The prophet in an interview with Andy Dosty on Daybreak Hitz stated that consultation and giving out anointing oil and the like, do not come with a price tag at his church, Heaven’s Gate Ministries.
“I do not charge consultation fees at my church, never,” he said on Hitz FM on Thursday.
He went on to disclose that he sometimes hosts between 250 and 300 guests for free at his office per day.
He, however, mentioned that the only form of support he calls for in return has to do with the sponsorship of the church’s radio and TV programmes —and the support, he says, is not mandatory.
About the selling of sacred items in his church, he pointed out that he does not engage in such practices.
“At my church, we do not sell anointing oil, calendars, holy water,” said Kumchacha. “We only spread the word of God to His children,” he added.
Although he does not involve himself in any form of trading at his church, Kumchacha said he is not against pastors and churches who do otherwise, as they have their reasons for doing so.
