The Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Tourism Authority, Maame Efua Houadjeto, has partnered Adwinsa Publications Ghana Ltd and the Ghana Library Authority to publish a children’s tourism book.
Books play a vital role in tourism promotion by transforming literature into gateways that inspire travellers to explore real-world destinations, authors’ homes, cultural sites and festivals.
It is in this context that, in the spirit of the flagship Black Star Experience programme, dedicated to marketing Ghana as a preferred tourism destination in the sub-region, the Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Tourism Authority, Maame Efua Houadjeto, has collaborated with Adwinsa Publications Ghana Ltd, one of Ghana’s leading children’s book publishers, and the Ghana Library Authority to publish AMA GHANA, a children’s tourism book.

The book is set to be unveiled at the 2026 Ghana International Book Fair on Friday, 28 August 2026, from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at the National Theatre of Ghana.
