Rising Ghanaian afro-fusion artist, Kuneli, has released her second single ‘Better Days’ for 2023.
The single follows Kuneli’s January release ‘Guard Down’.
‘Better Days’ is an AfroPop/Afrobeats song which talks about how one feels during hard times in life.
It talks about perseverance and having the hope that all things will align in due time.
“In this song, I tried my best to be as real as possible with my fans and listeners,” said Kuneli. “I’ve had several of my friends find themselves in tough situations as well and I believe the struggle to make it in life is even more so because our generation is exposed to a lot of other people’s success”.
“You pick your phone and the next thing you’re seeing is someone flaunting the life that you’ve always wanted and working towards but nothing major seems to be happening and sometimes it may seem as though God has favorites.
“I also went for a danceable tune to send a message that at the end happiness and success is going to be our portion with God and hard work,” said the artist.
She noted that ‘Better Days’ is about mustering up the courage to move and fight on.
“At times it gets rocky and nothing can be brighter than making just the right choices. Through it all, the melodies of life keep unfolding and we can still dance along in hope for a brighter day,” Kuneli emphasized.
‘Better Days’ was produced by SsnowBeatz.
